How it came together

The brief

Fidelity International wanted to break the mould of traditional workplace pension communications. Instead of the usual dry explainers, they envisioned a fun, engaging video series that would help workplace clients understand complex pension topics—with clarity and a bit of charm.

Our job was to create a unique educational video series that blended clear information with comedy and personality.

The shoot

Filmed over three days in a studio setting, we worked with comedian and presenter Mark Watson to deliver six scripted episodes. The tone was kept light but informative, using prop comedy, subtle visual gags, and a warm, informal delivery style.

Our experienced video production crew ensured everything ran smoothly, maximising efficiency and polish across the shoot days.

The edit

Each episode tackled a different theme around pensions and workplace benefits, all cut with crisp timing to support the comedic rhythm. We also delivered multiple versions for internal training, digital hosting, and social media cutdowns. 

The result is an explainer video series that doesn’t feel like one—making it easier to digest important financial info without switching off.
