How it came together
The brief
Hargreaves Lansdown wanted a case study video production celebrating Julie, their very first retail pension customer. The goal was to tell a warm, human story about her journey with HL over the years, likening it to a long friendship built on trust.
The video needed to blend personal narrative with HL’s brand values, creating a relatable, feel-good piece for both existing and potential clients.
The shoot
Our corporate video production team filmed the entire project in one day in York on a crisp winter morning. Julie welcomed us into her beautiful home, where we set up for an intimate, engaging interview. Between takes, we captured b-roll of her in and around her home, enjoying her day and sharing moments that reflected her warmth and personality.
Despite the cold weather, the shoot felt personal and inviting, perfectly reflecting the tone of the story.
The edit
We delivered a polished hero film alongside multiple social media video content snippets for HL’s channels. The edit wove together Julie’s heartfelt reflections with cinematic visuals, highlighting both her personal connection to HL and the positive impact they’ve had on her life.
The result was a versatile suite of content that could be used across platforms to reinforce HL’s reputation for long-term customer care.
