Kids’ Book Promos Puffin Books (via ec2i)

How it came together
The brief
We partnered with local creative agency ec2i to produce two short-form promotional videos for Puffin Books. The aim was to capture genuine responses from children as they explored two popular titles — “There’s a Chick in Your Book” and “Greg the Sausage Roll.”
This was social media video production focused on authenticity, charm, and shareability, tailored for publisher marketing campaigns.
The shoot
Working with a skeleton video crew and a fantastic art department provided by ec2i, we created playful environments for each book session. The emphasis was on capturing natural, unscripted reactions — big laughs, bright expressions, and those classic moments of wide-eyed wonder. Efficiency was key, and our lean production setup allowed us to shoot both campaigns quickly and cost-effectively.
The edit
We delivered a 30-second hero promo and a 15-second cutdown for each book, fully formatted in 16:9, 4:5, and 9:16 for social channels. The edits are vibrant, joyful, and punchy — designed to delight kids and parents alike.
This project is a strong example of video content for children’s brands that combines warmth, clarity, and a solid creative strategy.
