How it came together
The brief
Fidelity wanted to create a recurring editorial video series that kept investors informed about current events and trending topics in the financial world – but with a twist. Monty. Markets. Money. was designed to be fresh, casual and a little irreverent, making market updates more accessible to a wider audience. Our role was to develop and produce multiple themed episodes featuring a charismatic host, playful scripting, and custom motion graphics to give the show a distinctive visual identity.
The Shoot
We kept production lean with a two-person video production crew, filming the presenter segments in bulk on a relaxed set with a casual, conversational tone. Props and visual gags were incorporated into the shoot to help illustrate key points in a more memorable way. This gave us a strong base of material for multiple episodes while minimising filming days and costs.
The Edit
Our post-production and motion graphics teams worked hand-in-hand to create the funky, playful graphics that became the series’ signature. Each episode was edited within a week of filming, combining the presenter footage, on-screen text, animated charts and visual jokes to keep viewers engaged from start to finish. The result was a series of corporate video productions that felt more like entertainment than traditional market commentary, without sacrificing credibility.
