How it came together
The brief
Working in collaboration with local agency Digital Pie, we were brought on to direct and post-produce a branded video for L’Occitane, promoting one of their premium face serums.
The idea was to portray the emotional pull of the product through the stories of real L’Occitane team members — showing how this serum fits into their busy, chaotic lives.
The shoot
Filmed in a single day at one residential location, our challenge was to transform the same space into four visually distinct settings to house multiple character stories.
Directing non-actors to deliver scripted material in a believable and authentic way added a layer of complexity — but it also gave the film a natural, human feel. With a small, agile crew, we kept things efficient while preserving a warm, cinematic quality.
The edit
We provided creative direction in post, leading the colour grade and final online edit, helping shape the story and pacing into a polished product.
The final video reflects the brand’s premium tone while retaining the relatability of the featured staff. It was delivered in one hero format for campaign use across digital channels.
